A Truly Special Event

SpecialNeedsEventHiram2013WEBSparkles Hiram is always looking for new ways to get involved in our community. We love giving back and helping organizations raise money for their causes. Recently, our Sparkles skate car made some special appearances with our owner, Jeff Couey, as the driver, and a unique event is coming up at our Hiram, GA rink to support our new friends.

Last Saturday Jeff Couey and the Sparkles skate car were at West Ridge Church for the Touch a Truck event for their Special Needs Ministry. There, Jeff made connections with the wonderful leaders in the church and an idea was born. As fate would have it, we got a call from the Chanan Foundation in Douglasville to set up a field trip for their special needs group only a few days later. Now, we are having an event just for the special needs children and families in the Hiram, GA community to come out and have some fun!

The Event

On November 1st, Sparkles Hiram wants to welcome into our facility all of the special needs families from the area. This event is just for you! From 11 am to 2 pm we are going to have games and relays on the skate floor (on foot, there won’t be any skating), the indoor playground will be open and lunch will be provided. We’re going to do some dance contests and run our light show! It’s going to an environment filled with fun times for all! The cafe and arcade will also be open for purchases.

We look forward to seeing you and your family at Sparkles Hiram in November 1st!
